Ruined my credit!

I switched my phone service from SPRINT, Whom I'd been with for over 20 years. I had two phones on this new account but VERIZON didn't have a new phone available so, they switched my old number and activated the phone I carried over while the new phone was being shipped to me.

In the meantime, VERIZON opened another account and charged me for service that I didn't use as I had no phone.

I have looked at the Better Business Website to find that this appears to be common practice with the company.

I have called VERIZON numerous times to try and get this issue resolved with no success.

THEN VERIZON had the nerve to send this to collections and therefore, shattering my 800+ credit score. I AM OUTRAGED, deserve a refund as I paid this bill and should have my credit restored!

Well, At this time, The BBBMS employee (Julie Dee) HAS added my response to the reopened complaint. I don't yet have financial resolution, but BBB has corrected their wrong doing for now. I will update any advancements or changes.

No improvement. Neither the company at fault (complaint) or MSBBB has done anything to correct their wrongdoing.

I will make my best effort to update the PC complaint as often as possible. My complaint is visible on Google attached to their webpage.

I have an issue with Mid South BBB. I had an ongoing dispute #1753**** with an BBB accredited business.

The complaint has been going on for 5 weeks. The company responds, I respond, but it wasn't closed. The last communication I received from MSBBB, was an email letter dated August 2, that was 8 days ago as I write this. The letter said I had 10 days to respond to the business I was complaining about.

I emailed a response to the BBB regarding said letter yesterday Aug 9 (day 7), asking them to keep the case open, as I was waiting for action from the company I was complaining about, but that I would reply within the time frame allowed. I received an email from BBB this am Aug 10, telling me the case was closed Aug 9.
BBB emailed me on the 2nd, told me I had 10 days to respond, and closed the case on day 7. I say "NOT FAIR".
I am suspicious as to whose side they are on? BTW, the company I complained about, never denied poor customer service, they apologized for it.

They promised a refund. No refund yet after 3 weeks since I was told it was happening.
*Update, as I was writing this review, Julie Dee with MSBBB called me. She said her "system", closed out my complaint on day 7, and I was not the only person it happened to. That's very comforting to me.

I was told to submit my response directly to her and she would reopen the case and she would enter my response. Why can't she just reopen the case? BBB closed it too soon. It's their fault.
I will be honest and fair.

I will update this review after it all gets sorted out. If it ever does.
**Update, Today Aug 10, 12:30 pm, I emailed Julie Dee at MSBBB my timely response as she requested.

I told her of the review here on Google, and that I would update it when I get action or not.

****Update, it's been about 24 hours since I emailed the info to Julie Dee at MSBBB. Nothing has happened, the complaint has not been reopened nor has any of my response been added to the complaint.

Charged twice for a phone replacement

AT&T is a rip off. I did a phone replacement & paid $280 & returned the damaged phone within a couple of days after receiving my new phone and months later AT&T sends me an email saying they've not received my phone that I sent back to them 2 days after receiving my new one. This is a rip off & several ppl said the same thing has happened to them. Why do you do your customers like this? Pissed...

I need to cancel the complaint # 1758****. I thought it was a scan but then I found out it was not. I did call the BBB the same day I made the complaint But didnt have the complaint number but the agent took as much information as she could over the phone and was going to submitted. Please cancel. Have a complaint about car exchange in Virginia Beach

I brought my 2014 ford escape from them and they are real crooks , the owner is no longer there because of the things that are going on around there,l did a trade in and they told me that was all l needed, but in return they gave me a promissory note for 1500 and that's including my truck payment every month,so first why am l paying that, then the owner which was Tony at the time called me and told me that he needed me to call to the bank and clean up something and l said what,he asked me to call the bank and tell them that l just dropped off a cashier's check for $1000, but it was a lie.

Too expensive repair prices.

Christian Brothers Electric. Mgr Barry Put in two smoke alarms and charged Me $478 less my discount He was also going to redo my breakerbox outside new switch and clean it He was going to charge me $3600. For that but my son stopped him These are insane prices. Im a senior and my son said he took advantage of me!!!

On 7/20 /2022 i filed a complaint against Geico auto insurance regarding an issue with a claim on 7/4/22.A rep from Geico has contacted me yesterday and we resolved my issues. Paypal permanently limited my account even though i did nothing against their rules and regulations

Please help me. My paypal account was permanently limited by paypal and said that i have done something against their service agreement. But honestly i did nothing against the service agreement and my work payroll is connected to my paypal account so i badly needed it. Please help me restore my account.

The BBB preys on consumers believing the Better Business Bureau is a legitimate government agency when the truth is the Bureau is a multimillion-dollar business pressuring small businesses into joining their agency. Completely biased judgement. A pay to play organization.

Open and shut contact breach. BBB is bought and paid for by their member. My case was peer reviewed by 3 different attorneys, all of which found me fully in the right. None of which I paid.
